Startup business

I am a sole proprietor in the 8th year of automatic control manufacturing and installation.

While doing automatic control, I became interested in various things and registered 7 patents in 3 years, and one is pending~

3 out of 7 are related to work, and the other 4 are patents based on IT. A representative example is a pet wireless control device, which can be seen as a wireless dog collar. Now, to attract investment for commercialization, should I change my current sole proprietorship to a corporation, or should I create a separate corporation? My current sole proprietorship doesn't have much value~~ It's hard to do anything new after just doing the driving work~~ I would appreciate it if you could let me know if it is possible to start a startup with the existing sole proprietorship, and if so, how to do it~~
